Gus Adventures is a 2.5D low-poly, cel-shaded platformer developed by Cyrille as a solo project.

As for the gameplay, take the precision of Mario’s movements and jumps (like in SMB Wonder), the zany humor of Rayman, and the exploration of Ori (without actually being a Metroidvania), mix it all together, and you get GUS Adventures! As for the story… did I mention it’s going to be zany? The main goal is to offer a fun and uplifting adventure, so yes, the story is “out there.”

Hello, everyone.

I’m Cyrille, also known as Cyrillium, but also Cyrille GILL… and PSYKO Arts brings together my creative “alter egos.”

I’ve always loved coming up with stories, scripts, and music, but few of them ever made it out of my head. At forty, tired of conforming to the mold of today’s world and forced by my health to refocus on what really matters, I reawakened the childlike spirit buried deep within me.

So here are the different facets of myself that have emerged!

Cyrille GILL, the writer, will not emerge from the darkness alone, for my childhood dreams and nightmares resurface with him. In late 2023, I’ll share these buried fears in my book L’ombre d’un ange (The Shadow of an Angel), a collection of short stories illustrated and set to music by talented guest artists thanks to a crowdfunding campaign. (only in French unfortunately)

Cyrillium, my musical alter ego, awakens in 2025 and draws on references from my teenage years, blending electronic influences with the soundtracks of my favorite movies and video games.

And finally, there’s my “geek” side—a video game fan ever since my Amstrad CPC days—which is driving a new project, yet another childhood dream: nothing less than a video game I’m developing on my own.

I can’t wait to reveal more. In the meantime, take care!
